My art reflects the awe I find in nature, travel, and everyday moments. Working primarily in acrylic, oil, or watercolor, I use expressive color to capture the essence of a scene or the distinct character of a subject.
Since establishing my studio at the OneOhOne Art Gallery in 2023, I have focused extensively on the Southwest. A central part of my recent work involves studying the Salt River wild horses—a subject I explore across both intimate studies and larger canvases. Alongside these wildlife pieces, I create smaller works celebrating iconic Arizona landmarks and desert life, from vintage Airstreams and the Starlight Motel sign to the Grand Canyon and the cactus wren. Many of these paintings are also available as collector ornaments and greeting cards.
A Phoenix resident since 1998, I actively engage in the local art community through workshops and exhibitions. My work has been featured across the state at venues such as the Herberger Theater Gallery, Scottsdale Artists’ School, Shemer Art Center, Sedona Arts Center, Tempe History Museum, Bisbee's Chimera 27 gallery and the Liberty Wildlife animal rescue center.
